Fundamentally, our lives are about data. On first thought, data seems to be something that comes from the sciences—it is something quantifiable, something measurable. But what really are data and how do we use the information gleaned from them to make decisions, to feel, to express ourselves. These are the questions of statistics, of neuroscience, and of the mind.
